“The challenge is to try to capture elusive, fleeting moments—the surge of desire, a burst of joy, or the bittersweet pull of longing. I want to make images that spark something that moves in both me and the viewer. To savour those rare moments when things align, where there is a sense of “lifefulness”—which might be better described as being in a state of flow.”

About Me:

After a vibrant career in dance and choreography, I discovered a new language in visual art. Based in Berlin, my creative journey now spans more than thirty years across performance and visual arts. My early work as a dancer, choreographer, and director—collaborating with renowned companies like Scottish Ballet, The Royal Opera, Opera North and The Lindsay Kemp Co.—continue to inform my exploration of movement and emotion today.

Drawing on years of experience in movement, somatic practices, and performance, I approach my current work with the same sensitivity and discipline that once defined my dance. I am passionate about creating art that invites viewers to see the world through a lens that is both intuitive and deeply felt.

In recent years, I have shifted my creative focus to painting, drawing and printmaking, blending the immediacy of physical expression with the reflective depth of visual inquiry. Alongside my personal practice, I co-facilitate group process workshops and retreats for the LGBTQ+* community at We.are.Village—a space that welcomes my commitment to connection and creative exploration. Regular practice remains at the core of my process, a mindset honed by my years as an ex-ballet dancer and currently enriched through ongoing artistic investigations as a member of Perienne Christian’s “Creativity Café.”
